We are back in Avengers world, and Dark Reign is marching on. 17 months of Norman Osborn being in every comic book. It’s too much. And Ms. Marvel is no exception. This…

Exodus
A Steve McNiven cover, you know it’s serious. And look, Deodato manages to get some pages in. It’s him and Terry Dodson with Rachel Dodson, and colorists Justin Ponsor and Christina Strain….
Secret Invasion 7
Why not a Spider-Skrull vs. Skrullverine cover, I guess? Not exactly story-driven. This one opens on another 2-page splash, technically the 3rd in a row coming from last issue, as the battle…
Secret Invasion 6
The big 3! Together again for the first time since before Avengers Disassembled! Except one of them’s not the original guy, which takes the fun out of it. Bucky’s Captain America suit…

The Incredible Hulk, gladiator, space warlord, avenging hero… back to fighting tanks like he has for 40 years. The Hulk is just not interesting to me. It’s only when writers do something…
World War Hulk 2
Look how interesting the Spider-Man is there. Finch never drew a Spidey that cool in UXM or Avengers. Really upping his game. Inside… Real Ditko hours. Back at the fight, Hulk is…
World War Hulk 1
We’re closing this block out with World War Hulk. A mere 3 months after Civil War 7 comes out, there is this. Which, granted, should’ve actually been 6 months later, but things…
Runways. Vol. 2, 11 & 12
What a striking cover. James Jean takes over as the cover artist here. The graphic elements really set it apart, it’s a very 21st Century image. This month, we begin with an…
