This was quite the eventful set. First appearances from Mary Jane, Rhino, Shocker, Kinpgin, Joe Robertson and “Blackie” Drago. Romita coming into his own as the Spider-Man artist. Peter moving out. “Spider-Man No More.” The death of Fred Foswell. Big stuff! And fun to draw. This is the first one I’ve done since finishing The Marvel Try-Out Book, an I feel like this one offers evidence that doing that thing really helped my work.
