There’s a cover. Paulo Siqueira is back to tag team with Checchetto this time, and Jeromy Cox is back on colors. I can barely keep up. As we begin, Harry is staring out a window, thinking about how his dad shot Spider-Man.

Bullseye is operating the equipment, which Norman tells him to turn off, because nothing they try is getting the mask open. Then we flash back to Sue giving Spider-Man the suit, and explaining its made of Unstable Molecules (I mean, duh), and also “a little added insurance.”

Meanwhile, the wretched Norah Winters has just stolen that one dork’s keycard while flirting with him, and is making her move. Then it’s back to Bullseye torturing Spider-Man, having first taken the time to switch into his actual Bullseye uniform. Nothing conclusive there, so we’re off to Norman showing Harry his dopey armor, and Harry asks when Norman was going to tell him about the drugs.

Elsewhere, Spider-Man has been tortured into a near-DeMatteis-like fugue state and is starting to lose his grip on reality. Norman has arrived to zap him with an Iron Man glove. He exposits that Iron Man had theorized a way to stabilize Unstable Molecules, and now Spider-Man has 10 minutes before his mask will come off. Then he tells him Harry sold him out for a woman, which is our cue to go see…

So, now her transformation, which was caused by the same goblin serum that didn’t make anyone else who ever took it, which made her look masculine until it didn’t, now, what, turns her and her clothes into this 3rd thing? O, sure. How stupid. The whole thing, top to bottom. Well, anyway, Spider-Man breaks loose, quelle surprise, and handily defeats both Norman and Bullseye in 3 panels so he can run away. Then Lily… kind of punches a tree or something? And is now green skinned, also, and then suddenly is on a glider, angrily chasing Harry, who escapes into an elevator. Things sure have gotten jumbled all of a sudden.

“Hey, you guys ever seen Return of the Jedi?”

Well, the good news is, only 1 more issue of this story. The bad news is, I have to read it.
