We’re back with half-a-suit Spider-Mans this month’s installment kicks off, internal monologuing about how he’d rather be with MJ and commenting on how bad things go when he jumps into a fight with someone he knows nothing about as he follows some cop cars to where Geldoff is once again blowing up cars for fun. Guy’s really not too creative with it.

Geoldoff falls off, and Spidey has to quickly web him and slingshot him into the air so he can properly catch him before depositing him on a roof. Geldoff explains that half the football team got expelled for being at the party where he blew up those cars, so he blew up the principal’s car, and then the car of another teacher who called him a name. Spider-Man is ready to call him plenty of other names as he tries to understand what Geldoff’s powers are. Geldoff is convinced Spider-Man goes to his school, and they argue about that for awhile.

Geldoff thinks he should get a costume. Spider-Man thinks he should learn “with great power,” but Geldoff is not into that. He say people made fun of him and didn’t like him until he got his power, and now people think he’s cool or are scared of him. He doesn’t understand why you would use superpowers to help people. Which, to be fair, I’m not sure how much “blow things up” would help you fight crime unless you were the Punisher. As Spidey is trying to convince him, some dummies rob a check cashing place nearby, how convenient. Geldoff wants to go down there, but Spider-Man says to stay put and watch. And ya just know he will! Spidey drops in and tells the goons to cut it out, and gets shot at.

Time for some proper guest stars! That doesn’t happen too often in this book.
