This one begins with a panicked MJ running away from the TVs from the end of last issue.

One wonders if MJ freaked out this bad during Ultimate Six. But I guess maybe people didn’t know what was going on for most of that. The kids get to Aunt May’s house and find someone is there. MJ freaks out, but Peter knows Norman didn’t just drive a car over. MJ is wondering what she’s going to tell her Mom when she drives up in her own car, yells that Osborn is loose and on TV, and to get in the car, because they’re leaving town. Which is all pretty wacky. With MJ safely bundled into a car leaving danger, Peter just has to worry about May.

Aaaah, what a moment between them. May’s anguish as the parent who can’t protect her child, Peter flipping the script. So good. Soon enough, May is also getting in her car and leaving town. She says she has her heart meds in case anything goes wrong. With his loved ones taken care of, our hero is ready to get down to business.

I took this picture for a very specific reason that won’t pay off for years. That’s just how it goes sometimes. Spidey sees evidence that someone is in the house, and then someone emerges from the bathroom toweling off, but it’s Electro. Neither of them is too happy about this development, but now they gotta fight, it’s in the contract. Electro powers up and Spidey is dodging electricity all over Norman’s place. Meanwhile…

He’s running away!

I really only ran this page because seeing it, I remembered I used that top panel as a signature image on the Bendis Board for awhile. But also, look at Immonen go. Spidey and Electro continue to have a truly thrilling chase fight for a couple more pages until Spidey gets thrown into a store, and while he’s in there, a bunch of jetpack-clad SHIELD agents appear and start shooting at Electro, chasing him down the street. Which makes a good distraction for…

This poor kid gets shot a lot more often than his elder counterpart. Rough go of things. How’s he gonna get out of that cell. For that matter, how’s he even in there if the power was knocked out and so forth by Norman’s rampage? Maybe we’ll find out.
