Well, Rhino has Peter in a headlock and won’t let him out til he explains himself.

So… So Peter built a fully accurate replica of the Goblin’s costume, which I think he’s only seen in security cam footage, and put it on to… lure the Goblin here? Surely that’s a lie.

What? Is this him after he learned the world is a lie trying to blow up his own life? What even is this? Well, Peter flees on his totally functional Goblin Glider which, A, how does he have that, and B, he blew it up last issue, only to be attacked by a Sentinel. You wouldn’t think a giant flying robot could sneak up on someone, but that’s comics, I guess. Retreating from chasing Peter, Vulture says “they’ve been dusting off every human control law on the books” since Peter was outed (wut), and he won’t get caught flying while human. Meanwhile, on TV, JJJ is not even worried to be told people are calling him a race traitor, because the Goblin helped him get that weasel, Parker, and then they get interrupted by footage seemingly proving Peter is the Green Goblin via the Sentinel’s eye camera. We see some cops on the street arresting a guy for pretending to be a mutant, telling each other to stay vigilant, because if Spider-Man “can turn out to be human, anyone can.”

Ok! We go off to see JJJ and Norman Osborn having dinner, Osborn acting very impressed by how insane Peter outing himself through Jonah sounds. JJJ is begging him for protection, but Norman reiterates that Parker has all his stuff. But JJJ somehow knows Norman does some black market training, so Norman gives him an address for “a man named Smythe who builds machines.” Sure, why not? Now Gwen, George & Ben are breaking into… somewhere… Gwen urging them to turn back, the men refusing.

Just when I’m thinking JJJ is gonna kill Gwen in this world, ‘cuz seems like someone will, Spider-Man smashes in and demolishes the Spider-Slayer pretty easily.

Perhaps some of this will deign to make sense in the final issue. Maybe.
