A dark time for Spider-Man comics. Not as terrible as the previous block from this period, but pretty bad. Spidey cedes two of his books to The Scarlet Spider, Doc Ock and Aunt May “killed.” The Grim Hunter actually killed. The return of the Jackal, the introduction of Kaine. So dark. So grim. These latter ones give me a chance to do a little more with the colors, tho, so I enjoy that aspect of them.
