In keeping with the last few, I tried to ape a classic Romita, Jr. Spidey for this one. These things are fun for a lot of reasons, not least because they make me draw characters I’ve never drawn before. I’ve been drawing Spider-Mans my whole life, but characters like Nathan Lubensky and Deb Whitman or even The Frightful Four weren’t necessarily high on the to-do list before now. And any opportunity to draw Ben Grimm in a tuxedo cannot be ignored!
