I was just cranking these pages out, having a great time, and then I got to this one. I reworked it over and over, ended up moving things around on it and the following 5 pages… never quite… got it. I think I see what would’ve worked now, but, you know, too late. Ah, well. A page a week is not the most enjoyable way to read a story, I think, and I instinctively try to have really full pages as a result. Your average comic these days seems to have 4-6 panels per page. I average 7-8. I want to give you a reasonable amount of stuff in each installment. Sometimes, that means having to figure out how to get big story beats the room the deserve. Would you believe this page originally had a third scene on it? Like, am I insane or what? It’s a puzzle you never stop solving…
