My approach to making comics is about 99% instinct. I think I get lucky off instinct a lot, but I wouldn’t take credit for a well-designed page, or for well-designed pacing. It’s just what seems right. My instinct for action seems to be really dense pages. Flashes of motion and frozen moments. I guess like really kinetic camera movies in action movies? Hopefully it works.
