This month, also \u201cOne Month Ago\u2026\u201d, Eddie Brock wakes up in a high tech cell being watched by Bolivar Trask and Adrian Toomes. You know, like in the video game. Presumably before USM 90<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like the game. We flashback to the cops trying to blame last issue\u2019s troubles on Spider-Man, but unusually for him, bystanders come to his defense, and the cops let him go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Like in the game! We flash back to 20 minutes ago, within the flashback to a month ago, where Trask\u2019s goons are about to do something or other to Venom, while Sable and her Wild Pack stand guard, when Beetle smashes in and frees Venom. Which is NOT like the game. Beetle snips off a part of the symbiote, puts it in a can, and leaves. Venom freaks out, breaks stuff, eats a lady, and also departs. He\u2019s chasing Beetle, like he did in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man, that\u2019s some dynamic action. That cop is way too confident, and Venom eats his horse for it. Didn\u2019t get THAT in the game!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time for a more significant diversion from the game\u2019s story. Which is fine by me. We already saw this stuff, mostly. I\u2019m really surprised I forgot Bendis sort of remade the game\u2019s story with Immonen. Strange choices.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
