It\u2019s been over a month since I read last issue. I got so behind on my drawings that I didn\u2019t want to end up being behind on more than one. But I think I can do this again now. Will I remember what\u2019s going on? I\u2019ve been reading monthly comics for 40 years, of course I will! Spider-Man and the Green Goblin are falling to their deaths, proper 1970s comic style. And Spider-Man is out of webbing due to Carol Danvers using it all up while he was in his cell, so he\u2019s really panicking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stuart Immonen, man. It\u2019s good to be back. Look at that! The falling sequence is amazing, the impact spread explodes off the page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the kids emerge onto the street, the rattled SHIELD agents immediately hit them with \u201cget on the ground\u201d,\u201dhands in the air\u201d stuff, scared losers with guns being scared losers with guns, before Danvers arrives and tells them cut it out. Osborn apparently bounced on impact, flew into the distance, and has escaped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nick Fury thing again. I looked it up a few issues ago, and remembered where he is. I\u2019m gonna deal with it. Begrudgingly. Soon. Spidey & Kitty scale a building, then stop to look back down. Spidey was sure the Goblin would reappear and chase him, but it didn\u2019t happen. So they catch their breath. Peter apologizes profusely for how their relationship ended, and tells Kitty MJ & May are somewhere safe when she asks. Kitty asks if he wants to sleep at her place, but he is not ready for that. Then, Kitty says she\u2019s thinking of dating Kenny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A development! Is Bendis having the nice Jewish girl attracted to the bald guy some wish fulfillment thing? I mean, maybe, I don\u2019t know, but it\u2019s kind of funny. Soon enough, Spider-Man is scoping out his own house, and, pretty sure it\u2019s safe, creeps inside. He gets in normal clothes and begins to cool down when he spots the \u201cundercover\u201d SHIELD van outside. So, be brings the agents inside snacks. They have a surprisingly friendly chat, and then Peter goes back inside. He\u2019s checking messages from May and MJ when he enters the living room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Osborn says Peter is his legacy. That he\u2019s a hero and Osborn will be remembered for creating a hero. He says all Peter has to go is tell people Norman created him, and all will be forgiven. That obviously doesn\u2019t go over too well, and they argue about what is or is not about to happen for a bit until someone knocks at the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
