Andy Lanning returns to do breakdowns this time, and Chris Chuckry is back to coloring solo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The internet seems to indicate Vermin never fought Daredevil. But, I mean, who cares, right Marc? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

“I’ve seen firsthand there’s a shred of humanity left in him. Mostly in the several years he wasn’t Vermin, but also other times.” Really batting 1000, Marc. When did poor Edward inevitably become Vermin again, anyway? Internet seems to think it was the team comic Marvel Knights #14. Presumably with no explanation. The Amazing Daredevil webs Vermin to a wall and susses out from his incoherent babbling that Vin is “underground,” and assumes he’s dead. Spider-Man asks if he gave Vermin his beating, and Vermin says “she did.” Peter ties that to the copy guy earlier talking about the drug dealer who sold MGH to a woman who claimed to have captured Spider-Man, and our guy is nearly on the case well into part 3 of 3 in this one. Referring to him as Edward, SpideyD asks Vermin to show him where Spider-Man is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vin’s doing pretty good for a regular guy hopped up against his will on the junk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I appreciate Jimenez working hard to put Peter in Spider-Man poses. He is visibly Spider-Man even in the DD suit. SpideyD starts mixing it up with Still Unnamed Kraven Child 3, telling “Spider-Man” to take a breather and get out of here, and Vin eagerly obliges… Until UKC3 throws a bolo around his neck. Now he’s choking to death, so our hero has to wrap thing sup quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Amazing Daredevil and UKC3 duke it out for awhile, our hero worrying about using his webshooter and revealing his hand, and then she tags him in the face and starts pressing her advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Well, that’s nice, but our heroes are so beat up they aren’t sure they can take her (This is pretty absurd), so Peter gets a tracer on her and they try to book it. She starts yelling at them in French as she pursues, but then Vermin appears, Peter calling him “the second cavalry,” and he really goes to town on UKC3. Vin is understandably freaked out by Vermin and his rat army, and Peter wonders if he should stay and help UKC3, but Vin’s safety is his first priority, and he’s pretty messed up, anyway, so they leave her to her fate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That “cut myself shaving” thing would’ve worked if we hadn’t seen all the blood coming out of SpideyD’s forehead. At one point last issue, it looked like he was bleeding out of his eyeball. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not… too great a cover story, Pete-O. Like he made the problem worse to avoid blowing his secret. But wait, there’s more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unnamed Kraven BRIDE #1! I love this last page. This page is funnier than joke since BND started. Surely they didn’t think they had to spell it out that<\/em> hard. “Yes, girl who has stolen Kraken’s gimmick in a story called Kraven’s First Hunt, you are your father’s daughter. Let’s look at some pictures of him, and him and me, and our family tree<\/em>, even, and think about the good old days.” Let’s have a closer look at that, shall we? Computer, enhance!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sliding time scale and all, but those dates are funny. Ana was born after the publication of the comic where VladI<\/strong>mir died (Nice typo), and he died in 2005, and also he was born the year before Amazing Fantasy 15 came out. Well, I looked it up, since this comic didn’t bother to tell me, and apparently her supervillain name is… Kraven the Hunter. Very<\/em> original. Well, I guess I’m tagging her like other other brother, by her real name, to avoid confusion on the ol’ blog. What a time. Her mom is apparently called Sasha, and also Aleksandra, because who has just one name in comics? I know we’ll be seeing them again in the near-ish future, but I don’t know what all they get up to. Still so weird to be uninformed and partially informed about things. Next issue comes a twist on that front, but first: Something else.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
