And Tony Harris completes the set. I guess this couldn\u2019t have been done too much earlier given the Hydra logo and whatnot. How odd. The next time someone other than Deodato supplies a cover for ASM, Deodato will no longer be drawing it. And that moment is coming sooner than you might expect. But, right now, Spider-Man is falling to his death and\/or dying in a fiery explosion (To say nothing of the toxin in the rocket getting him, even). As he falls, he does the usual, thinking of May and MJ, but at least he gets to die knowing he saved\u2026 the whole country, really. Then Iron Man catches him, whomp whomp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anomalies? After Peter had a dizzy spell? This couldn\u2019t be going somewhere, could it? Peter wanders into Starks\u2019 obligatory hall of armors. I love the Iron Man hall of armors. I love how many times it\u2019s been destroyed, and yet he somehow still has all the suits later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tony continues to list various symptoms over flashbacks of Peter experiencing them, and then Peter lies and said he\u2019s not had any of that. Good job, buddy. Then Tony explains that the Hydra goons all ran for it when the rocket launched, and then the base was destroyed by a series of explosions, and the Avengers had to divert topside to keep people from getting hurt, so Lascombe got away. He will never be seen in a comic again. Peter mostly just wants to see his wife, tho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s Peter noticing Jarvis and May holding hands there at the end. Things are really changing around here. Meanwhile, Tony Stark goes to the see the tabloid guy who started that mess, and after giving the excuse that Peter is working for Stark Industries, reveals he\u2019s had his own people follow this guy around, and naturally, he\u2019s doing some stuff his wife wouldn\u2019t be happy with, and Tony says he\u2019ll use every dollar at his disposal to grind the guy to powder if he doesn\u2019t retract his story and apologize. Nice and tidy. Later, Peter & MJ are cuddling and it\u2019s late. She reveals that yes, May and Jarvis are a thing, which unnerves Peter, but he\u2019s happy for her. Then he goes to try a hot tub thing in their bathroom\u2026 and passes out in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Other? What\u2019s The Other? It\u2019s a famously bad crossover that I stopped buying ASM rather than buy into, that\u2019s what. But guess who\u2019s an idiot and owns the whole thing now?
