This one\u2019s called \u201cArm In Arm In Arm In Arm In Arm In Arm With Doctor Octopus.\u201d Really. We find Spidey & Doc Ock striking a surprising truce to deal with Hammerhead. Hammerhead says the nuclear explosion \u201cblew him out of phase,\u201d and Doc Ock\u2019s machine has fixed him. I still don\u2019t really think of Hammerhead as someone who could even construct that sentence, let alone that plan, but what do I know? HH gets the better of Doc Ock (Again, this is very hard to believe) and then Spidey punches him right in his metal head like a dumby, hurting his hand and letting Hammy slam into his gut, so Doc Ock tags back in. This team-up isn\u2019t working out too well\u2026

Wah wah. This is very silly. While everyone\u2019s knocked out, Aunt May is understandably freaking out, and as luck with have it, the SWAT team decides to rush the place at the same moment Hammerhead\u2019s goons drop in via helicopter, so Spidey wakes up to a war zone.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Anesthetic bullets.” Hammy\u2019s goons are dressed more like Doc Ock\u2019s old goons from their last dust-up. It quickly becomes a complete mess, Spidey and Doc Ock fighting to see who can save Aunt May while the cops and the goons shoot at them and each other. And it just keeps getting worse.

Crumbs! What a crazy storyline. As they rush off, we look in on a totally different scene, as a mysterious smoking figure watches two other mysterious figures as they do the job he\u2019s paid them to, which is reconstructing The Spider-Mobile. the mystery men are sure this will lead to the death of Spider-Man. But not right now. Instead… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How long will this runner last? Back in the story, Ock and Spidey arrive at Hammerhead\u2019s hideout, same one as last time, and sneak in. They have to fight some goons in the kitchen, and soon they\u2019re rushing into HH\u2019s office, where he has Aunt May.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So weird to see them on the same side. Ock begins taking apart his batch of goons while Spidey webs up Hammy\u2019s gun and makes it blow up in his face before rolling up some of the metal floor to cover Aunt May. HH seems to finally realize he\u2019s in trouble, and shorts out the controls to his weird spinning office, turning it into a centrifuge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ock showing his true colors is almost a relief after this goofy storyline. Having saved everyone in the room, Spidey puts down the remaining goons, but finds the window HH & Ock escaped out of has come to a stop facing a brick wall. Elsewhere, Doc Ock catches up to Hammerhead just as he begins to escape in his weird helicopter. But Ock is so mad he starts throwing trash cans at it\u2026
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus ends a pretty wild one. Every time Hammerhead and Doc Ock have appeared in the same issue, it\u2019s been pretty insane. Who knows when next their paths will cross? I mean, uh, it\u2019s too bad Hammerhead is dead forever. But before we can get to “My Killer, My Car,” we’ve got some other stops to make first.
