And Bendis just kinda had the kids brush it off, but nothing is ever wasted. Well, zooming over Manhattan, we find Iceman coaching a terrified Liz on how to control her flight, and making some progress. But she can\u2019t figure out how to stop going, so he eventually surrounds her in ice, putting out her flame and bringing her to a stop on a rooftop. He ices up a privacy screen around her as someone off-panel says this is her first super hero lesson\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spidey keeps trying to give her the \u201cwith great power\u201d speech, but she\u2019s not interested. Then she asks him if he goes to her school, and he says yes, and she says she won\u2019t go back. When he says he does, she says why would she ever go back to school\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such a spot on teenage boy moment. So funny. Spidey catches up to her, and she starts grilling him about who he really is under that mask. And, you know, I know he\u2019s protective of his secret, but literally everyone else at that bonfire knows, why not Liz? But their discussion is cut short by the arrival of\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
