You have to wonder what Greg Land thinks of his “work.” Does he care if it looks good? Does he think it looks good? Does he see the face on that Captain America and high-five himself? I really wonder. Well, anyway, what this series really needed was like 10 more characters, so they’re getting into it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, basically, fight fight fight fight. The Ultimate people fight both Squardons, Doom fights Iron Man, no one knows who anyone is or why anyone is doing anything. Myself included! It is mentioned that this Squadron got a Reed probe, also. Then people start saying “something is wrong.” Like, a lot of people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Not til we’ve burned off most of this series with empty fight scenes cobbled together from pictures cut out of Entertainment Weekly, buddy!” Meanwhile, Doom is fighting Iron Man, then the Thing clobbers Doom enough to reveal he’s a robot. Wah wah, the usual with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two Squadrons soon learn they all do this, saying the same thing, and the classic Nighthawk confuses Captain America by recognizing him as one of the Avengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charest Spider-Man. That Hulk looks like it could be ripped from Ron Garney’s run, but I don’t know for sure. Ah, well. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel. My suffering will be over soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
